A lot of people are incredibly excited about Disney’s streaming service Disney+ which is launching on November 12th with a majority of Disney’s catalog of movies and TV shows, as well as original content like The Mandalorian and High School Musical The Muscial The Series.
Many people are wondering exactly when Disney+ will be available for download, but according to the Disney+ website, the streaming service will be available at 6AM EST/3AM PST the morning of November 12th. Many people thought the streaming service would be available at midnight but apparently that’s not the case.
Disney+ will allow you to create up to seven accounts, and to stream across four devices simultaneously. Since many people are wondering what options they’re going to have to stream Disney+ we’ve compiled a list of all the available ways to stream it (that we know of).
- Apple phones and tablets
- Apple TVs
- Phones and tablets with the Android operating system
- TVs with the Android operating system
- Roku sticks and boxes
- Roku TVs
- Xbox One
- Playstation 4
- Amazon Fire Devices
- LG Smart TVs
- Samsung Smart TVs
- Web browsers
I’ve heard that there will be an app for Windows computers but haven’t been able to confirm that which is why it’s not on the list. Even if it’s not available though the fact that it’s available on web browsers will make it viewable on laptops and desktop computers. If they add additional devices we’ll be sure to update this list. Some of Disney+’s content will be available to stream in 4K so this is very good news for people with newer 4K devices.
Disney+ is available for $6.99 per month or you can purchase an entire year for $69.99. You can view their website here.
