Disney+ is probably the most anticipated streaming service of all time, launching on November 12th with almost all of Disney’s catalog of movies and TV shows. The streaming service will also include many of the properties Disney acquired when the purchased 201th Century Fox earlier this year.
The streaming service will cost $6.99 per month or $69.99 per year, but thanks to a great deal from Verizon many of their customers and all of their 4G LTE and 5G wireless customers will be given a year of free access.
According to Verizon’s website:
- On November 12, Verizon will begin offering 12 months of Disney+ to all new and existing 4G LTE and 5G unlimited wireless customers
- New Verizon Fios Home Internet and 5G Home Internet customers can also enjoy 12 months of Disney+ on us
- Verizon customers can enjoy everything Disney+ has to offer, including high-quality and commercial-free viewing, up to four concurrent streams, downloads for offline viewing, personalized recommendations, and the ability to set up to seven different profiles
This is great news because Disney+ will allow you to set up seven different profiles, and stream on four different devices simultaneously. So if you or someone you know already has an active account with Verizon Wireless it’s going to make gaining access to the service that much easier. If you don’t already have Verizon though, and you plan on getting Disney+, now might be a good time to switch.
You can also get a free year of Disney+ and $1,000 just for watching a Disney movie or show every day for a month, thanks to a contest from Reviews.org. To find out more about the contest click here.
Do you plan on switching to Verizon once Disney+ launches, or do you plan on buying Disney+ separately? Do you plan on avoiding the new streaming service altogether?
