Disney is known for hiding Easter Eggs in their movies that are connected to other movies. Did you know though that there’s actually a theory that all Pixar theories take place on the same earth, at different points in time? While you’ve probably noticed that every Pixar movie contains references to other Pixar movies, it actually goes much deeper than that. For example, did you know that the Pizza Planet truck from Toy Story appears in every Pixar movie? It’s true.
Another great example of the Pixar Theory is the fact that the same trailer shows up in both A Bug’s Life, and Monster’s Inc.
There’s also references in multiple Pixar movies to the company Dinoco.
In the antique store in Toy Story 4 you can spot multiple artifacts from other Pixar movies. The lunchbox from A Bug’s Life and the scuba diver’s mask from Finding Nemo are just two examples.
In Toy Story there’s multiple references to other movies, like a cameo from the bugs from a Bug’s Life, and a postcard from the movie Up.
And let’s not forget that Boo had a stuffed Nemo from Finding Nemo.
There was even a kid reading a Mr. Incredible comic in Finding Nemo.
Individually these Easter eggs might not seem like much. A man named Jon Negroni started noticing a pattern between the movies though, and began putting things together.
He theorized that all Pixar movies take place in the same universe, at different points in history. Therefore he believes there’s actually a much larger story arc that connects all the movies. Going through every Pixar movie he collected evidence, and here’s what he discovered.
They haven’t added some of the newer movies yet, but based on these examples it’s possible these movies are connected. Do you think the Pixar theory is plausible? Let us know in the comments if you have any additions you’d like to add.
